The first time I'd heard about Rolo's (the restaurant in Ridgewood) was probably during the time that G and C and I watched The Bear. I'm sure B at work told me that Jeremy Allen White frequents the spot. G and C and I must have talked about that too. A boyfriend of S used to bring her there, and the closest I'd come to stepping foot inside is when I stood outside last November, waiting for a set of keys. Soon after R and I met, she mentioned wanting to go there, and yesterday, after more than two years, we did!

I kept telling R about the wood-paneled bathroom, "I'll go before we leave!" she said. And sure enough, standing up to watch the chefs with R, J stood as well, and R said "Oh right, I am going to go see the bathroom!".
